FAQ for LSC-Tomball Students: Logging in to the Databases

This guide answers frequently asked questions that have arisen while the library has been closed due to the Coronavirus pandemic. If you are a new student or new to using online library resources, check here for answers to common questions.

Logging in to the Databases

Once you have picked a subject or chosen a database, you will be presented with an authentication page before you can access the resource. You may log in with the library card on the back of your student ID or with your myLoneStar credentials. The link to log in with myLoneStar is under the library card number box.

Ask a Librarian!

Though the library is physically closed, Research Databases containing Articles, eBooks and Videos are available to our students, faculty and staff 24/7.

To access the databases, enter your 14-digit library barcode number located on the back of your college ID/ library card when prompted.  No college ID or library card? Use your myLoneStar username and password by clicking the link below the barcode login when prompted before entering a database.
